Same old red door Everything looks the same I longed so much to be here again Same old faces Tell me, do I look the same too? Don’t cry! Soon I’ll have to leave again Some say home is Where is the heart, I know My heart was always here I wish I’d never go Part of me always will Stay, stay. Good bye, so long It’s time, I will be back I hope My home always will be here Always will be here Always will be here Always will be here

about

Mundo is a collection of songs originally released between 2015 and 2017 in places like Soundcloud and Youtube. Mostly acoustic songs with instruments such as the classical guitar (known as “violão” in my home country, Brazil), the cavaquinho (a cousin of the ukulele), improvised percussion like home keys, salt shakers, water-filled glasses, tapping on my desk top or on the guitar, clapping and even Beatboxing (for “Rosa Formosa”). Includes my modestly successful flamenco song “Jambo”, which was released in 2018 as a single to Spotify and other stores.

Dimitri De Alencar Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Dimitri De Alencar is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger, songwriter and composer, and lover of the guitar and related instruments: eletric guitar, bass guitar, cavaco, banjo, viola caipira, mandolin... nowadays mostly synthwave and ambient, but the older material includes world music, rock, samba, flamenco, soul, jazz and rock, since genres are pathways, not prison cells.
